1.) Install the GV-Net card into your DVR.
a.) Connect the power cable; you will see a red diode illuminate on the card once it is powered properly.
b.) Connect the Comm port cable.
2.) Connect wires from the GV-Net card’s positive and negative terminal block to the PTZ’s positive and negative terminal block.
3.) Connect the AC-24V transformer to the PTZ’s power terminal block; positive is white and negative is black.
4.) Click on the Configure icon in the GeoVision software, and select System Configure.
5.) Under PTZ Control, checkmark the PTZ Device Setup box, click on the drop-down menu to choose the correct protocol, and exit out of System Configure.
6.) Click on the PTZ icon located on the right of the screen, and select the appropriate address of the PTZ.
7.) Now you can control your PTZ using the pan, tilt, and zoom buttons.
