RS-232, RS-485 and RS-422 are among the most successful and widely used serial interface standards for industrial applications. Although these standards are not directly compatible with each other, it is often necessary to communicate between them. In order to convert RS-232 signals to RS-485, we need a GV NET CARD which is designed to easily convert data between RS-232 signals to RS-485.

When you open the box, there are one NET CARD and two connect cables:

1.RJ-11 to DB9 cable x1

2.4pins to 4pins Mini Power Cable x1

3.NET CARD x1

Insert the NET CARD to an empty card slot

Connect one of the PC power supply’s 4 pins-mini cable to the NET CARD ’s power input connector.(or you can use 2.4pins to 4pins Mini Power Cable to connect the PC’s power to NET CARD )

Inert the RJ-11 connecter to the NET CARD’s RJ-11 slot and connect the com port connecter to your PC’s com port.

Select PTZ dome device by using [PT Speed] drop down menu, then click activate option. If you have more than one PTZ dome installed, then each dome should be activated individually.

Start PTZ control panel and use the [Addr:] drop down menu to select different PTZ dome you wish to control
