1.) Make sure the power cable and video cable connected to the camera are working properly. Try using a video and power cable that you know is working. If you don't have another power cable, try using a multimeter to see if there is any current going through the wire to the camera.
2.) Make sure the transformer is the right type for your camera. Some cameras require 12V DC transformers, while others require 24V AC transfomers.
3.) If you have an infrared camera, such as the IR 120, you need to make sure that your transformer has a minimum of of 20VA (20 Volts * Amperes) in order for the infrared to turn on.
