How accurate will this feature be?
Everything moves in the screen will be counted. It shall be very accurate.
adding to this subject, where would this be useful? One of our customers plans to use this for his gym. It will have a counter of how many people have gone in the gym, and left the gym. So you will know how many people are in the gym at any given time, by subjecting the amount of people inside the, to the the amount who have left. This is a good indicator of how crowded it is, and when it is the best time to work out. No more wating on someone else using those specific dumbell weights you use!
The regions must also be carefully sized and location carefully picked, because it is sensitive. An object must fill up a large part of the region and can only detect movement. So if there is a wooden door, merely opening the wooden door might trigger the counter as someone entering or leaving.
There is a log that saves the information from the counter. You can specify however many minutes you want the cycle to save the log. So the most popular choice would probably be 1440 minutes for a log cycle, since there are 1440 minutes in a day.
