We did demo a 32 channel DVR system at the ISC West 2008, but it has not been released. It should be released in 6 to 8 months dubbed as V8.3.
I am not sure how this vendor got it to work, but it seems like, they are bundling it together using the Center V2.

I just called the company advertising 32 channels. As I have expected, the way they are promoting is using two servers and installing one of the servers with Center V2 to tie the two DVR systems together. They provide a single monitor and a KVM switch to switch between the two comptuers. I asked them why not sell other 32 channel DVRs instead, they gave a descent answer: 1. More expensive than the CV2 with 2 GeoDVR setup and 2. Not as reliable as the GeoDVR setup.
So yea, no trick there rigging the system to a 32. Please wait 6 to 8 months when version 8.3 comes out, we will have a 32 channel DVR, actually a 64 channel hybrid, with 32 analog and 32 IP =)
