I just sold a GV1480 DVR card and the client called back asking about the USB Dongle. He said the manual referred to it and stated that if the card did not ship with one, they should contact the company that sold them the card.



We have not seen anything about the Dongles in a long time, is Geovision bringing them back or can I tell this client to forget about it.

The dongle that your client is refering to is probably the GV-NVR USB license key. If you are integrating GeoVision IP solution, you will not need it. However if you are integration 3rd party IP camera then client would need to purchase GV-NVR USB license key.
