Full Version: Steps to connect to GSSDVR web meeting (also for Remote Control Technical Support)

1. Open Internet Explore and then type http://connect.acrobat.com/gssdvr in the address bar.



2. After seeing the follow screen, please type your name and click “Enter Room” to enter the meeting as a Guest. (If the system asks you to download flash, please download and install it.



3. Then, you should see the following two screens below. Please wait for a moment.





4. After you see the following screen, please click “close” to close Phone Conference information. (Since we call you to have the meeting, we don’t need to dial into the phone conference)


5. Then, you’re in the meeting and you should be able to see the screen (mostly power point file) GSS is sharing.




**Please continue to:Step #6 If you need GSS's tech support to remotely control your computer.


6. Please click "Share My Screen". Then, on the right-upper corner, you’ll see “Install the Acrobat Connect Add-In to share your screen with other users.”. Please click “Install”.



7. After seeing the following screen, please click “Yes” to install the Add-in.



8. Please click “Yes” if you see the following pop-up window.



9. Please close the Phone Conference information again.

10-1. Please click "Share My Screen".


10-2. Select "Desktop" and click "Share".


10-3. When you see GSS's tech support asks for controlling the shared screen (message popping up at the lower right corner), please click Accept.


10-4. Then, you should see your mouse cursor controlled by GSS.


Steps to connect to GSSDVR web meeting (for GSS’s technician):

1. Open Internet Explore and then type http://connect.acrobat.com/gssdvr in the address bar.


2. After seeing the follow screen, please select “Enter with your login and password”.
Login name: support@gssdvr.com
Password: gss123


3. Then, you should see the following two screens below. Please wait for a moment.




*If you have installed Acrobat Connect Add-in, please go to “Step 9”.

4. After you see the following screen, please click “close” to close Phone Conference information.


5. Click “Share My Screen”. Then, on the right-upper corner, you’ll see “Install the Acrobat Connect Add-In to share your screen with other users”. Please click “Install”.


6. After seeing the following screen, please click “Yes” to install the Add-in.


7. Please click “Yes” if you see the following pop-up window.


8. Please close the Phone Conference information again.


9. Ask the customer to connect to the http://connect.acrobat.com/gssdvr and follow the instructions on “Steps to Acrobat Connect-Tech Support” file to enter to meeting.

10. After you the customer enters the room, select the customer’s name, click the icon and select “Set as Presenter”.


11. Ask the customer to click “Share My Screen”, select “Desktop”, and then click “Share”. If it’s the first time for the customer to use this, the system would ask the customer to install Acrobat Add-in.

12. After the customer shares his/her screen, please click “Request Control” and ask the customer to click “Accept”.

13. Then, you could move customer’s mouse cursor and control his computer.

**The customers need to install “Acrobat Add-in” for them to share their screens in order to let us do the remote control. Please send the document, Steps to Acrobat Connect-Tech Support, to the customer and ask them follow the instructions to share their screens.
