Q: When I turned on LPR mode the camera went black and cannot see anything.
A: Because LPR mode is designed to caputure License Plate, when the camera is in LPR mode, it would only receive reflected IR beam. Therefore, you could only see the objects with reflective surface (i.e. license plate, metal, mirror). If you change the mode to Auto, you could see other objects, but the license plate might be washed out (too bright).
Therefore, we would suggest you to use our "Pro 8 Kit" if you need to capture license plate and other things at the same time.
