Full Version: Blurry video on Zavio IP cameras when the light is turned off?

Q: Attached are two images. One was recorded with light on and the other was with light off.
You could tell that the hand and face are blurrier on the video recorded when the light was off.
Is that because the camera used slower shutter speed at night mode?
If not, what’s the reason? Is there any way to resolve this issue?



A: For the video shows, at light off situation, it will be less clear than the video from light on.
The IP camera use CMOS lens, and it is their weakness in dark side, not like CCD product.
However, our engineer adjusts the shutter speed when it is under dark.
So it is as you mention, the video is a little bit delayed.
But if the object doesn’t move so quickly as waving hand, it still offer better video than other IP cameras.
