Q: How to move a PTZ camera (Camera A) to a preset point by an alert from another camera (Camera B) in GeoVision software?
A: To to this, you need a GV I/O device (GV IO USB BOX or GV-Net IO card). I'll take the USB BOX as an example and let you know hot to do it below:
1. Connect the Ouput 1 to Input 1 on IO USB BOX. By doing so, the alert triggered by Camera A (i.e. motion detection) will send single from Output 1 to Input 1.
2. Connect COM.E and COM.A for ground purpose on the IO BOX.
3. Plug the power for the IO BOX, use usb cable to connect your IO BOX to your computer, and then install the driver for your IO BOX.
4. In the GeoVision software, go to "General Setting"->"System Configuration"->"Camera Record Setting". Check "Output Module" and select the correct module and pin; then click OK.
5. Go to "Accessories"->"I/O Application"->"I/O Application Setting". Go to the module and input you set in step 4 and select the right portocal and address for Camera A.
6. Select the preset point you'd like the camera to move to after alarm in "Alarm On" and select the preset point you'd like the camera to move to after the alarm is gone in "Alarm Off"; then click OK.
7. That's it and you could see Camera A to move to the point you set when motion is detected on Camera B.
Thank you very much.
