Question:

NUUO Server is running XP PRO. It works great no problem.
Client PC is a VISTA PC. We open Internet Explorer and try to logon to remote live viewer, and we’ve got the following error messages:
“ Missing or corrupted resources files, Please re-install the system to correct the problem.”
Does it mean that we have to reinstall VISTA on our PC or re-install NUUO program on our XP server?

Answer:

(1) Please refer to the first attachment to remove internet template
files. Use "dell * /s" or "dell *.* /s" instead and be careful to
double-check the PATH before deleting anything.

(2) If the first attachment doesn’t work, please refer to the second
attachment to turn off user account control and add trusted site
and lower the security. It might result from the user account
control.

This issue is due to the constraint on user account from Vista.
There are two ways to solve this:
(1-1) If you wish to keep UAC, please run IE as administrator .
Go to C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer, right click on iexplore.exe and click on “run as administrator” then you are able to use NUUO web viewer on IE.

(1-2) If you also want to use Mainconsole on vista with UAC on.
Just go to C:\Program Files\NUUO\SCB_IP and right click on Mainconsole.exe, right click on it, select property.
Then enable “run this program as an administrator” and you should be able to use Mainconsole on vista.

(2) Turn off UAC
Please refer below link to turn off UAC.
