DVR Security Forum

I'm new to DVR systems. I am a network administrator that has been trust into an new installation. I have a AVTech DVR and I am trying to connect a ViZionCAM-Rx camera with a IR3-85 lens on it. Indoors it is ok not totall clear but at longer distance it should be fine. As soon as I even point the camera at a window I get a total white out.

I have tried to adjust brightness and contrast with no luck.

Can anyone give me a pointer or some direction?
