Scenario: Customer needs to provide long distance wireless Analog video transmission through obstructions like mountains or buildings. How does he go about doing so?
The Sentinel is a powerful 5.8Ghz wireless transmision with POE. In this project we will use 2 pairs (Rx & Tx) of Sentinel, a video Decoder and Encoder.
1.) Change the ESSID of 1 set of Sentinel, so the ESSID of the 1st
set will be "derytech" and the 2nd set is "derytech1".
2.) Also change the IP addresses of 1 set of Sentinel to Tx =
192.168.1.51, and Rx = 192.1681.41
3.) Using the POE adapter, connect a network cable to the
connector that says "POE" to the 1st Sentinel Tx at the camera
location. Connect 2nd network cable from "LAN" connector to
the video Encoder. Connect camera and power to the Encoder
4.) Do the same thing for the 2nd Sentinel Rx, but the LAN connector will go to decoder, so you will view
the video on a TV by connecting to decoder's BNC connector
5.) The 2 other Sentinels (Rx 1 & Tx 2) will be in the midway location
(i.e on the mountain) and they we will be wired together with
Network cable. There must be a power source here
6.) Check if you can "ping" all nodes one at a time. If you cannot
reach one of them, go back to the steps. NowYou should have
streaming video
7.) Check instructions on the manual and this attachment
