Hi All,
I have a GV system currently installed with a gv800 card with 8 channels , we require more cameras ,it it possible to swap the gv600 8 channel card with a gv800 16channel card and just add more cameras or will I have to reconfigure the system from scratch?

You will need to install the software CD that comes with the new GV card. Newer GeoVision cards come with chips of different versions than the older ones.

I have seen in a case where two identical cards will work with the same drivers and software. You may note the verison info that is printed on the cards.
