Use GeoVision's "Remote View Log" software. You can either install it through the webcam server on IE or from the GeoVision CD.

Now login-in to the remote DVR. First select the date and time to backup, then click on AVI (Save as AVI) icon. Click the "Settings" tab on the next winddow. Check the box that says: "Save As Exe". All video and codec will be saved in one EXE file.
