Ok here is the deal i just hooked my samsung dvr up to a router got my remote access where i can pull it up from home but after i pull it up the live viewing stops and i have fast internet at both locations. i will be the first to say i am not good at this stuff but i have done the hard part but this sucks because i still can't see whats going on. i can refresh and it starts for 2 seconds and then freezes. somebody help.

Is your computer running XP or Vista? If it's XP, check the settings under Tools ->> Options.
If it's Vista, disable User Account Control in User Accounts Snap-in.

Or it could be a router issue. Test the webcam video on the LAN and see if the problem exists.

It's most likely a Windows problem. Test this with another PC.
