Mobotix cameras record in MxPEG and it looks like .JPG images but it is not. Each images is actually a video clip (up to 10s each when complete). The camera is the one able to access the network share where the video is, anybody else should be, the camera is a computer which behaves like a user on the network (SERVER/CLIENT).
The only way then to access the video is to use the player from the camera (make sure that the camera is using Active to display that in Internet Explorer, if not you won't be able to see the clips) or by using MxControl Center.
