There is definitely a problem. When I launch the "POS Live View", it stops after a random number of transactions/time. According to the guide, it is supposed to "purge" the oldest transaction to make room for the new one. However, it is not doing this. It just "records" a random number, then stalls. I have been tracking start/stall times and number of transactions, but there is no consistency. (I was thinking if it was a setting, it would always stop after a certain time or number of transactions or time) I have found that if I restart multican or stop monitoring, then restart monitoring, it will start "recording" the POS data again. The POS overlay on the screen continues to work even when the live view stalls (Which would indicate the data is still getting to the DVR and is not a problem with the cash register or the cable connecting it to the DVR) Also, if you go to the "System Log" and then the "POS 1" tab, it quits recording transactions at the same time that the "POS Live View" does. (Which means that when I do a "Search POS Data", it can only search what it has. (Thus, allowing a thief to potentially not get caught or an employee to not follow proper procedure)

How long has he had this issue?
Thank you
There are two possibilities that might cause the problem.
the space for the syslog is not enough. This causes the syslog not being able to recycle.
MSB file for syslog is damaged.
Would you please save the syslog database in another location and see if the same issue will occur?
Go configure -> system log setting -> set location.
