Illumination with pulsed lighting is becoming more commonly used in interiors. The lights are not illuminated continuously, but rather they are pulsed at a frequency that is too fast for the human eye to discern. If a camera has an exposure time in the area of this frequency (commonly 1/250 s or 1/500 s), light striping may occur in the images. The only solution in such cases is to set the minimum exposure time of the camera in the setup menu (under exposure settings) to a time of at least 1/90 s.
