How can the event number be communicated via the network notification system (IP-Notify)?

ANS:
Starting with software version V1.8.8, a number of different variables can be included in the text sent in a network message (IP-Notify). The following variable reflects the current event number: $(FPR.ENO).

To set this up, proceed as follows:

* Event Activate network message ( Setup Menu > Event settings).
* Open Admin Menu > Profiles for network messages and click Create new profile.
* Enter the port number of the obedient process in the new profile IP address.
* Enter the following variable: $(FPR.ENO) in the message text box and any extra text.
* Note: Make sure that the Event dead time ( Setup Menu > General settings) is set to a low value.

If an event occurs now, a network message will establish a connection to the computer port with the corresponding IP address and the corresponding text along with the event number will be transmitted accordingly.

For more information on the variables, refer to the Camera Help.
