Even though I have recorded MxPEG clips, I can only see single images. How can I play the MxPEG clips?

ANS:
You have selected either continuous recording or event recording as the recording mode.

Clips are recorded in MxPEG format as a consequence. You can play the clips with the MxViewer or with the Internet Explorer with the ActiveX plugin installed.

The clips are named Mxxxxx.jpg for compatibility reasons (for playing in browsers that do not support ActiveX) and contain a single JEPG image as header.

To play the clips in the MxViewer, please select the camera in the viewer and then click on "Show camera events".

You can then play back the events using the player controls. To play previous and successive alarms, you can use the "Switch image series" button to select from the alarm images (two black boxes beside each other), all alarms including previous and successive alarm images (three gray/black/gray boxes in each of the two cases) and the currently selected alarm including previous and successive alarm images (three gray/black/gray boxes).

To play the clips in the Internet Explorer with activated ActiveX control, please select the player in the live image of the camera. The control functions are similar to those of the MxViewer.
