Why do the times differ for creating directories on the file server (SMB) and for the camera images for a camera belonging to the M1/M10/D10/V10 model series?
ANS:
The directories on the file server are created by the command 'make directory' and therefore obtain the file server's time. The images in the directories are initially created in the camera and are then copied to the file server after creation. When using cameras from the M1 or M10/D10/V10 model series, the files have the UTC time when being created; this time is calculated from the configured camera time and time zone. Depending on the time or time zone of the file server and the configured camera time, a difference can arise between the directory and file creation times.
