When I access the camera, why am I asked repeatedly for the user name and the password?
ANS:
If guest or user passwords have been defined for the camera, the user name and password will be requested every time you change from the live view to the player or multi-viewer view to protect the images saved and the other cameras from unauthorized access.
However, when the browser you are using repeatedly requires you to enter the user name and the password (e.g. in the player each time a new image is shown), the browser has stored incorrect user data in the buffer. In this case, you should close all the browser windows and restart the browser. The next time you access the camera, then directly enter the user data on the highest level you have access to.
