The differences between the "PCI Combo Cards" and "PCI EXPRESS Comb Cards" lie in their connectors and power requirements. The current PCI Combo Card has a standard PCI connector for PCI slot. It also defines DVI-type and Dsub-type for different styles of connectors and cables connection.

The PCI-E Combo Card has a much smaller x1 PCI Express connector for the x1 slot. The PCI-E Combo Card supports Dsub-type only. It requires electrical power from computer power supply.

These PCI-E and PCI GV-Combo Cards have the same models for GV-1120, GV-1240, and GV-1480. They all feature multiple video and audio input ports, TV output, 480 fps display rate, and digital I/O accessory card support. The video compression techniques include Wavelet, MPEG-4, Geo MPEG4, Geo MPEG4 (ASP), and Geo H264.
