System Requirements
Following are the basic system requirements to activate the turbo mode.

Geovision Turbo card features:
Geovision Turbo Cards are available with our GV Combo Card Type A that we are offering now.
Please advise that Geovision will be replacing GV PCI express card to Type A card (PCI express) in GV Combo card series (GV1120, GV1240, GV1480).
Here is the highlight of the difference between Type A card and D-Type/DVI/PCI Express card:
- Turbo mode: Type A card can record more frame rate per second compares with the current GV Combo card. (Please see attached frame chart).
- Card spec: Same as current GV Combo card. Please check
http://www.geovision.com.tw/english/prod...-1480A.htm (GV1480-A card Spec)
- 2 PCI express card slot required: Will need 2 Type A card for 32 channels DVR system, which would required 2 PCI express slot on motherboard. (Please see attached ComboAcardspec.pdf) Please ensure client’s current system design allows this setup.
- Not compatible with current GV Combo D-Type card: Will need to replace the old GV Combo card with 2 Type A card if PCI express card is not available in stock. (GV1480 express card is out of stock now)
Please note: GV Combo Type A card is to replace our current GV Combo card eventually. We will still have D-Type, DVI and PCI express (some model might not be available) during this transition time.
