To focus the Pro8 LPR, aim it at a car License Plate 80 feet from the camera. Set the main focus scale between 8 & 12, and rotate the secondary focus untill you have a clear picture. Please do not do this through a glass window as it will create a reflection.
Also make sure that the IR light comes on day & night. To do so, inside the housing, make sure the cable from the IR-board is plugged-in. This ensures that the camera gives you clear license plate video.
