NUUO 3.2 software doesn't support the USB IP+. Could you please show us how customers with USB IP+ can upgrade to 3.2. Also, Could you please show us how to add another camera. For example, I have USB IP+ 8 cameras, and wants 9 cameras on 3.2 software.
Activation falls in two types: online and offline. Online means that you activate your NVR on a computer connected to the internet. Offline means that that you activate your NVR running on a computer without any internet access.

Online activation
If you are upgrading from 3.1 or previous versions
Activate from a dongle

When you are upgrading from the versions older than 3.2, choose this option. Main console will upgrade itself and converting to the use of online license.

1.) Go to license manager

2.) Insert your dongles
3.) Select online and select "Activation from dongle"

4.) Click on "Activate"

After the conversion, the dongle will be invalid. From version 3.2 on, dongles will not be used.

Offline activation

In many cases, machines are installed in an environment without internet access. NUUO offers offline activation for these cases.

In these cases, you need to prepare a machine with internet access which will play as a proxy to NUUO license server. You send out a request file from the NVR machine to the proxy and reply it to NUUO license server. NUUO license server issues an license file after having authenticated the request file. You save the license file on your NVR machine to make the NVR work.

Import from a license file

A license file stores the license information and is generated after registration or upgrade from dongles. You may import from a license file which is generated by main consoles running on other machines.

1.) Go to license manager

2.) Select offline

3.) Type in the serial number and click on Activate

6.) Select "Import license file". Click on "Activate"

After the conversion, the dongle will be invalid. From version 3.2 on, dongles will not be used.

Transfer

When you are migrating a system or re-install the system, you need to make a transfer. Transfer means that you are invalidating the use on your current machine and registering new machine information with NUUO license server.

So, if you are re-installing your OS, replacing your current network adaptor in use, you need to make a transfer before you can continue to run main console.

Making a transfer can be done online if you have internet access or offline if you do not.

Online transfer
1.) Go to Transfer tab

2.) Select the serial number you want to transfer and click on Transfer

After tranfer, serial numbers will become de-activated.

Offline transfer
When your system is installed in a internet-less place, you must make offline transfer before you migrate your system.
1.) Go to Transfer tab

2.) Select the serial number you want to transfer and click on Transfer. And do not forget to select 'Offline'

3.) A request file will be generated in a folder.
