To use 2-way audio, there are some things to note:

To use 2-way audio, there are some things to note:
- Please make sure the microphones and speakers (both on computer and camera sides) are workable.
- You need to use MPEG-4 mode and make sure you do not enable “Mute”.

- You need to use “UDP unicast” or “TCP” protocol in client settings page.

- If you would like to set up the camera on the internet, please forward “2-way audio port” and RTP, RTCP, RTSP ports (in network page) on the router.

- Click the “talk” button on the plug-in and then talk. You can refer to attached picture for what I mean.

- Please note that the 2-way audio is “half-duplex”, you cannot talk to and listen from the camera at the same time. If you want to listen from camera, you need to release the talk button.
- For the wire connection, you need to purchase a special female to female adapter.

This is the image of the cable connection. Box 2 is the same type of adapter as the image above.
