Blocking parts of the image is accomplished in the Setup Menu ==> General Image Settings. The feature is called “Obscure Image Area” and is the last item on that screen. Clicking the help button at the top of that screen (yellow ball with a question mark inside) will give you context sensitive help that should adequately explain how to do it.
