I am using Geovision v8.3 and I have tested v8.31, neither version can get audio from Mobotix M12 as the Wave Out and Rec Audio options are grayed out.

I updated to v8.31 and didn't help.
I have checked v8.3 user manual and it says we support audio for Mobotix M12…so technically it should work.

I can hear audio on web interface and also if he connects to NUUO NVR and I can also hear audio.

Do you know what is wrong?

Please try to add the Mobotix M12 camera into your NVR. He has port 85 opened for that camera so you can add it and take a look.

The Mobotix M12 audio is not available in v8.31.

The reason, we don't support audio in Mobotix M12 Mpeg format, is because Mobotix M12's SDK didn't include audio.
That's why the Preview and audio setting's Wave-out and Rec Audio are grey-out.
As a result, we are unable to support the audio function in M12 when hybriding to DVR or NVR.

But the good news is our RD currently is working on M12's audio in Mxpeg.
In the later version, M12 will be support in Audio. However, it is going to take a while.

If this is a project, please discuss with GSS manager.

Please copy IPCamDLL.dll into GV system’s folder and run IPCamInstall.exe.

Audio may not be as clear as native. This patch enabled audio from Mobotix M12, Q24 and D22

First off, thank you for this information.

Tried downloading and extracting the v8310patch.rar archive. The dll file extracted OK. The IPCam exe file shows a CRC error and file corrupted. Tried using WinRAR and powerarchiver both with the same results.

Is it possible to email me the extracted exe file or post a link to downloaded it?
