Good day!



Ok, we finally got the Geovision Data Captures and GV-Com’s working, but we need to fine tune there operation.



We are unable to;



1. Alter the output of the Data that is output on the screen to reflect a Journal Receipt (which has less information) than an actual Receipt

2. Get the ‘POS Live’ to replay video when certain ‘Keywords’ are searched for in the Geovision software.



Can you either forward us the information to correct these problems or forward us a source that will assist us in attaining a solution.

Please refer to the following resonse:

1. Altering POS data of any kind will not be processed via the GeoVision software. That is, GeoVision software, including Data Capture Box, only relays and displays the exact output from the POS system. Therefore, GeoVision does not alter nor edit the original data in any way. If the customer is looking to alter the data coming in, he can either adjust the setting on the POS before the data is sent to POS or after GeoVision records the original data, then extract the original data out as a text file then alter it afterward.

2. In order to playback video in association with POS Live, please make sure that the overlaid video is recording during that time. To be sure, the customer can try recording using shorter video length (1 min) and then recording round the clock. This way, transactions should be matching the recording video all the time.
