I have two questions with the NUUO 7000 series.

1. If the audio is enabled, a “crackling” sound is emitted from the speakers. If all audio input sources are unplugged, the sound is still there. The crackling sound only disappears when the audio is turned off in the software. The audio input source can be heard over the crackling.

2. Is there a “spot monitor” function? All I could find is the dual/triple monitor function, which is not what I need.
First I want to apologize for causing you the inconvenience and thank you for being understanding and your assistance on this issue.

In our lab, our engineers have duplicated a similar issue and I would like to confirm something with you.

1. When the “record audio” option is checked in <Schedule> and the <Schedule> window is opened, we can hear the crackling sound. We are working on solving this issue right now.

2. If the <Schedule> window is closed, we get the crackling sound too with the “Enable Audio on active channel” option is checked in <Config>-<Setting>, but it happens only after hours of waiting.

The information I told our engineers is that “The customer can hear the crackling sound if the “Record audio” option is checked. Either the <Schedule> window is opened or not. The sound goes away in the main console if the option is unchecked.” Can you please confirm what I told them is correct, or you issue is the same as #2?

The RD department told me that if your issue is number 1, it will be solved really soon. If it is number 2 or as what I told them, they will need more time and information to find out what the root cause is.

Thank you again and I look forward to your reply.
