Installation note:
Before installing MEGA NVR 2.2, please read following instructions carefully to
ensure successful installation.
1. Prepare the target machine
Due to the license protection, you should install MEGA NVR 2.2 on your target
machine only. Please confirm your target machine has the right equipments and
operation system as follows:

1. Prepare the target machine
Due to the license protection, you should install MEGA NVR 2.2 on your target
machine only. Please confirm your target machine has the right equipments and
operation system as follows:
- NVR Standard HW Spec requirement: (for CIF/D1 IP Camera)
- CPU: Pentium Intel Dual Core E7400 2.8GHz or above
- RAM: 2GB
- Operation System: Windows® XP professional SP2/SP3 or Vista(32Bit)
- Display: nVidia chipset which support DirectX3D
- Minimum resolution: 1280x1024, but 1680x1050 is recommended
- Storage: Need two physical Hard Discs at least. One is for operation system, the other one is for storage. The storage hard drive will be erased before using for recording.
- Windows Component: Message Queue (you will need to have Windows® XP
CD-ROM to install this component)

- NVR High-end HW Spec requirement: (for MegaPixel IP Camera)
- CPU: Pentium Intel Core2 Quad Q9400 2.6GHz or above
- RAM: 4GB
- Operation System: Windows® XP professional SP2/SP3 or Vista(32Bit)
- Display: nVidia Geforce 9500 Display Card or above
- Minimum resolution: 1280x1024, but 1680x1050 is recommended
- Storage: Need two physical Hard Discs at least. One is for operation system, the other one is for storage. The storage hard drive will be erased before using for recording.
- Windows Component: Message Queue(you will need to have Windows® XP CD-ROM to install this component)

1.1 Preparation for Vista System
1.1.1 Click the Start button -> Control Panel, and then open Performance
Information and Tools.

1.1.2 Click the Adjust visual effects

1.1.3 Choose Adjust for best performance then click "OK" button

1.1.4 Open AutoPlay

1.1.5 Uncheck the Use AutoPlay for all media and devices and save

1.1.6 Turn on Microsoft Message Queue (MSMQ) Server feature by going to
Control Panel -> Programs and Features -> Turn Windows features on or off

1.1.7 Check ALL MSMQ Options and save
